Disney celebrates Super Bowl LV champs, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski

After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9, star players and long-time teammates Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski capped their extraordinary performances with a time-honored tradition – appearing in the iconic “I’m Going to Disney World!” commercial.

The TV spot this year not only celebrates game MVP Brady and Gronkowski, but also healthcare heroes with an image of Cinderella Castle illuminated in blue to honor those who have been courageously battling the pandemic.

While there will be no Super Bowl parade taking place today at the Magic Kingdom, due to COVID-19 physical distancing measures, Gronkowski will be traveling to Walt Disney World today for an afternoon, experiencing some of Disney’s most popular attractions. And, Disney will be releasing those photos and maybe some video later today.

Plans are for Brady to visit Disney World in the coming months.

This is Brady’s fourth time appearing in the Disney World commercial, even though he has won a record seven Super Bowls.

He also appeared in:

Disney’s popular Super Bowl commercial, which has become woven into the fabric of the game since 1987 when New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms first appeared in the spot following his team’s Super Bowl victory.
