Disney California Adventure to debut special food event in mid-March
Disney California Adventure will host a special food event next month, Disneyland President Ken Potrock announced to Disneyland Resort cast members in an e-mail.
The new event will be the first for the Disneyland Resort. While the theme parks have been closed since last year, the resort has expanded the Downtown Disney District into Disney California Adventure. Now that the regional stat-at-home order has been lifted, Downtown Disney restaurants are reopening.
“Currently planned to begin mid-March, we will debut an all-new, limited-time ticketed experience, focused on our world-famous food and beverage offerings from around the resort, the latest merchandise and unique, carefully crafted entertainment experiences…all to be offered multiple days a week,” Potrock said in his letter to the cast. “With limited capacity and enhanced health and safety measures in place, Guests once again will get to step into a magical Disney environment – an environment that will provide memorable and fun experiences our Guests are craving.”
No official announcement has been made. Nor have specific dates have been released.
The note from Potrock comes on the 20th anniversary of the Disney California Adventure.
