This year’s Disney Christmas special will be different from some years past. The “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration” will only feature Walt Disney World this year, as Disneyland has not yet reopened.
The special will be on the ABC network this Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2020, and will last two hours.

The “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration” will air at 10 a.m. ET and 9 a.m. CT/he at 10am ET and 9am CT/MT/PT on ABC. This is a two-hour special.
Who is hosting the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration?
Tituss Burgess and Julianne Hough will be hosting this year’s Christmas special that will feature musical performances, holly jolly laughs, heartwarming family stories, and special sneak peeks.
Will there be a Disney Christmas Parade this year?
No. There has been no parades taking place at the Walt Disney World Resort this year. However, there have been cavalcades featuring Mickey and Minnie’s holiday cavalcade, Goofy’s holiday cavalcade and of course, Santa.

What else will be shown during the special?
Disney will be using the show to promote and show a number of things including:
- A look at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, coming in 2021 to EPCOT,
- A look at WandaVision, a Disney+ original series streaming Jan. 15
- A look at Disney and Pixar’s upcoming feature film “Soul,” available on Disney+ Dec. 25.
