Photos: 2 giraffe calves explore the savanna at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Two recently born giraffe calves Maple and Zella have joined the other Masai giraffes on the Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna today, Dec. 3.

The calves have been spending time bonding backstage with mothers Mara and Willow. This was the first time the duo joined the zebra, wildebeest and springbok.

Under the watchful eyes of the keepers, the two kids explored their new surroundings with their mothers and aunts.
