New track placed down for Liberty Square Riverboat refurbishment

Construction has been progressing fast on the refurbishment of the track the Liberty Belle riverboat uses for its journey around the Rivers of Ameria at Magic Kingdom.

The ongoing refurbishment means the riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island is closed . At this point, the two attractions are now scheduled to reopen on March 1.

First the river was drained and the original track was removed. Now, the track is being replaced, as you can see below.
