Last year, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, like all of our lives, was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, that we are living in this COVID world, Walt Disney World will be hosting its Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival from March 3 through July 5, 2021.
The topiaries will return to EPCOT. Dotting the landscape will be Mickey, Donald and friends, Remy, Anna & Elsa, Lady & the Tramp, Figment and a host of others. Disney’s Horticulture team is already working on prepping the flowers for the bright blooms that can be seen around the park.
In addition, there will be more than 20 Outdoor Kitchens around the World Showcase, offering a variety of food and beverage.
The springtime scavenger hunt, Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration, returns. And, of course, there will be specially-themed merchandise.
On March 15 of this year, Walt Disney World Resort closed due to the pandemic, just 12 days into the 2020 festival.
This year’s festival, like the all of the other festivals are being called a “Taste of” to signify it will include much of what taks place during festivals, but not everything. This is due to health and physical distancing requirements.
