New album featuring hottest music artists covering Disney classics to be released in October

Music artists from pop, rock, R&B and country will deliver their own interpretations of classic Disney songs for a new album.

Verve Records and Walt Disney Records have announced they will team up for a new compilation album to be released in October 2015 called “We Love Disney.”

“When the opportunity arose to partner with Walt Disney Records, I jumped on it,” David Foster, Verve Music Group Chairman and the album’s producer, said in a press release. “The Disney catalog is so amazing. You have so many songs to pick from, going back almost 80 years now. So it’s an endless treasure and one of the most rewarding projects that I’ve ever done — and I’ve done a lot of stuff.”

Disney will announce the artists and the songs to be featured on “We Love Disney” in the coming weeks.
