Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure to open in 2021 at Disney World

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot will be opening sometime in 2021, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro said while giving the keynote speech during the virtual International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo.

The attraction is part of the major Epcot France Pavilion expansion taking place and was supposed to open in summer 2020, but could not because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Based on Disney and Pixar’s hit film, “Ratatouille,” the attraction will have you shrink down to the scale of a rat for this adventure as you race across Gusteau’s kitchen floor aboard special trackless ride vehicles.

The little group eventually ends up in the dining area, attracting attention from customers and causing a riot.

In addition to the ride, the France pavilion is also expanding with a new crêperie restaurant that will feature the cuisine of celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse, the mastermind behind the pavilion’s Chefs de France brasserie. The menu will be inspired by the Brittany region of France and offer table service dining as well as a quick-service stop for guests craving crepes called galettes and sweet crepes.

No addition information on when in 2021 the attraction will open.
