Walt Disney World has made numerous changes to its holiday events this year due the coronavirus and the latest one is turning the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail in to a Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll.
The event started in 2016 with 15 trees laid out in a former bus loop at Disney Springs with a shopping kiosk and a Santa Claus meet and greet. Over the years the number of trees grew. Now, because of the need for physical distancing, Disney has placed the trees throughout Disney Springs and now it has become a stroll.
The stroll now is down to 12 holiday trees, really only 10 specially designed trees because two of the trees are the large normal Christmas trees erected annually. Even so, they are fun to see.
Head on over to the Guest Services area and pick up the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll map, not only does it include all the stickers, you can get a fun surprise at the end and you can find out about the special offers from the 25 shops and restaurants. (Oh, as of now there is no Jungle Book tree, so, don’t let the sticker throw you off.
