Disneyland Paris closing as France imposes November COVID-19 lockdown

Disneyland Paris will again close again as French President Emmanuel Macron announced a second national lockdown for November.

Starting Friday, Oct. 30, the people in France will only be allowed to leave home for essential work or medical reasons. People will again need to fill out forms to provide justification to leave their homes to justify leaving their homes. This is similar as to what happened in March.

While restaurants, bars, and other non-essential businesses will be closed, schools and factories will remain open.

The lockdown is now scheduled to last through Dec. 1. “Nothing is more important than human life,” Macron said in a nationally televised address. The government is scheduled to lay out the details of the new lockdown on Thursday.

Disneyland Paris previously closed March 15 and reopened July 15.
