New limited-edition Disney posters celebrate Epcot’s extravaganzas
There will always be a soft spot in my heart for Epcot’s Millennium celebration. It wasn’t the Mickey Mouse hand waving a wand over Spaceship Earth; it was the magnificent Tapestry of Nations parade, which wound its way around the World Showcase Lagoon from 1999-2001.
So it’s delightful to see the celebration come to life again on one of a new series of posters featuring more than 20 years of Epcot extravaganzas.
A different Disney artist designed each poster, which feature the Millennium Celebration, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth and the forthcoming HarmoniUs, which was set to debut later this year before the pandemic threw all of Disney’s plans up in the air.
The posters are silk-screened on silver metallic archival paper. Each is printed in a limited edition of 300 and measures 27″ x 18″ (including a quarter-inch border).
