Disney World theme park restaurant walk-up lists now online

Dining at Walt Disney World has changed a bit with its reopening and limited seating capacity. Finding reservations for table-service restaurants could be difficult. So, Disney is trying to make things more convenient by placing walk-up times online.

The walk-up option on the My Disney Experience app started first with some resort restaurants and now Disney is expanding it to the theme parks.

Starting today, you can now use the app – for parties of 7 or less – to join a walk-up list at many table service restaurants at Epcot. Other theme parks are expected to be included as the week progresses.

All you need to do on the My Disney Experience app is:

  • Tap the + button on the botton of the app.
  • Tap Check Dining Availability
  • Enter the Party Size
  • Tap the Date on the calendar
  • On the Search by Time that pops up below – Tap “Now.” You will then see a list of walk-up eligible restaurants.

Or choose the restaurant on the My Disney Experience and choose “Join Walk-Up” Please note, that to check in you will need to be close to the restaurant.

The rollout of restaurants are expected as follows:

September 1, 2020: Epcot – Biergarten, Coral Reef, Garden Grill, Le Cellier and Rose & Crown.

September 2, 2020: Disney’s Hollywood Studios – 50’s Prime Time Café, The Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, Oga’s Cantina and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.

September 3, 2020: Magic Kingdom –  Be Our Guest Restaurant, Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern, The Plaza Restaurant and Tony’s Town Square.
