Disney World extends shortened theme parks hours through Nov. 21
Walt Disney World has updated the hours to its calendar for its four theme parks through the end of Nov. 21 and all remain with the same shortened hours going into effect starting Sept. 8, 2020.
While at this point, the Halloween celebration is limited to Magic Kingdom’s decor, special cavalcades and allowing guests to dress up, there has been no announcement of holiday events this November and December.
Normally, Magic Kingdom holds its Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Epcot normally hosts an International Festival of the Holidays, with the Candlelight Processional, and the remaining parks are normally decked out for the holidays.
Disney, on its website, says that it is “monitoring our new environment closely, and will make a decision on these events as we continue to learn more from government and health officials.”
The hours for the parks are:
- Animal Kingdom – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Epcot – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Hollywood Studios – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Magic Kingdom – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
