You can now check on Disney World walk-up restaurant availability on app

You can now start to check on walk-up availability for some table service restaurants at Disney World resorts using the My Disney Experience app and we hope this feature to expand.

The search is part of the “Check Dining Availability” part of the app where you perform a search. On the Search By Time Section will be the button “NOW.” That will provide a list of restaurants available.

At this time, only four restaurants are part of the initial phase:

• Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
• Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village
• Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort
• Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

For those staying at resorts, this will be helpful, especially if you do not have reservations and want to figure options without having to walk over to the restaurant.
