First look: Installed Quinjet at Avengers Campus in Disneyland

The Quinjet has landed at the Avengers Campus being built at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland.

The new Marvel-themed land as originally scheduled to open in July, but has been delayed due to the coronavirus. Even though Disneyland and Disney California Adventure remain closed, construction continued.

The immersive land is being designed similar to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with the feeling of being on the Avengers Campus, which is the home of Worldwide Engineering Brigade with the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature Spider-Man. This new family-friendly attraction will be called WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.

The attraction includes a blend of 3D and a new interface which will help you experience what it’s like to have super powers and sling webs alongside Spider-Man as you try to wrangle the Spider-Bots that have escaped. Tom Holland will reprise his role as part of the attraction experience.

Nearby, the Campus Supply Pod is the place to power up with official Avengers Campus gear, including performance fleece hoodies and tees, headwear, drinkware and other super hero supplies.

The dining spots scheduled will include the Pym Test Kitchen. You will be able to taste-test such items as the Impossible plant-based large and micro meatballs with pasta, or the “Pym-ini,” a panini served by the slice or as a long, multi-portion sandwich.

Adjacent to the Pym Test Kitchen, an oversized beer can where the Pym Tasting Lab will be located. Adults can order a craft beer, ranging from a blood orange hefeweizen to an amber lager or try one of the Pym Research Staff’s Pym Particle-infused cocktail experiments.

In addition, remember the Shwarma Palace that appeared at end of “Marvel’s The Avengers?” Well, there will be a food cart with shawarma-inspired snacks. It will be decked out with memorabilia since the Shawarma Palace owners are huge Avenger fans.
