Change in app makes getting Rise of the Resistance boarding group simpler

A recent update in the My Disney Experience app should make it simpler to attempt to make Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance boarding group reservations for larger groups.

To ride this attraction inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios one needs to score a boarding group. Translation, you need to get a spot in the virtual queue. You can try to board at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. To do this you need to list those in your group.

One of the issues with putting together a larger group is the need to first making sure everyone is connected in the Family and Friends List of the My Disney Experience app. Then, when it is time to seeks a boarding group you need to check off everyone on the Family and Friends list who you want to join you in the boarding group.

The new update will help you save time will help you save some time. The My Disney Experience app now will auto-select guests from your Family and Friends List that are in the park. There will be check marks in front of all the names, but they have to be in the park.

This should cut down on the time it would take you in your attempt to get the boarding pass.
