5 places you can still see fireworks at Disney World
One of the most exciting things to do when visiting Walt Disney World is watching fireworks, especially the ones that fly over Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. Due to physical distancing, the fireworks are no longer being shot over the castle. However, you can still see fireworks when visiting the parks, if you know where to look.
Here are five places you can always find fireworks:
1. Your hotel room: Disney has recently added the pre-recorded on demand viewing of “Happily Ever After” from the Magic Kingdom. The 18-minute fireworks show transforms the Cinderella Castle through a state-of-the-art projection technology with music featuring contemporary versions of Disney songs.
2. Soarin’ Around the World: The popular Epcot attraction gives you a tour birds-eye tour of the world and ends with a bang. The ride ends with fireworks over Epcot. Make sure you look for that Hidden Mickey in the sky.
3. Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros: About five minutes into this boat ride inside the Mexico pavilion at Epcot look to the skies. Your search for Donald Duck will be about over and you’ll get to enjoy fireworks above.
4. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: Nothing will stop you from enjoying fireworks once you get to the end of this phenomenal ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This ride is the first featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse and has an earworm of a song that you’ll be singing for a while.
5. Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid: There are still some fireworks left inside the Magic Kingdom, this one in the attraction in Fantasyland. After sitting through the retelling of Ariel’s story, complete with all the popular songs, you attend the wedding of Ariel and Prince Eric complete with fireworks.
