runDisney to open up registration for 2020 Virtual Wine and Dine running events
Now the 2020 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend has been turned into a virtual event, runDisney will again open up registration for more people.
runDisney announced last week that the physical race was transitioning to virtual race weekend and those runners registered for the once event could seek a refund or convert the registration to the new virtual event.
Those who register can run in their own neighborhood, home gym, or wherever they want to choose.
No opening date for registration has been announced.
Those who want to register will have the choice of registering for the 5K, 10K and Half-Marathon and The Two Course Challenge, which combines the 10K and Half Marathon for a total of 19.3 miles.
Those who register will receive:
- Commemorative Finisher Medal
- Long Sleeve Event Tech Shirt
- Digital Bib and Finisher Certificate
- Digital Race Tool Kit featuring printable mile markers
- Digital Goody Bag
- Virtual Playlist
It is up to each person to report when they finish.
