Disney World resort pools now open earlier

Walt Disney World is now opening the main pools at its resorts at 9 a.m. instead of 11 a.m. The extra two hours in the morning with the summer heat is sure to be beneficial for a number of guests.

Even though the pools are open earlier, don’t expect to clean up at the pool showers, you are going to need to head back to your rooms.

Disney last week announced that all public showers found in certain areas of the Disney hotels will be unavailable until further due to health and safety concerns. This includes fitness centers showers and pool restroom showers.

Pools are operating with reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing. Select poolside activities may be available at select resort hotels.
