A look at character interactions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney is finally taking advantage of the Discovery River, which circles the park’s interior, with its new character interactions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Due to the changes made by the coronavirus, characters and guests need to stay at least 6 feet from each other. The boats allow the characters go all around the park, blaring music so you know they are coming, and gives all a safe distance from the characters and each other along the banks of the river to watch.
