How Disney PhotoPass Service will change when Disney World reopens
Many changes will be taking place when Walt Disney World theme parks reopen in July due in an attempt to reduce contact with cast members and promote physical distancing. This includes the Disney PhotoPass Service.
There will still be photographers around the parks but there will be some changes you will encounter, including:
- Disney PhotoPass photographers will not handle Guests’ personal devices such as cellphones and cameras for photos.
- If props are going to be provided, they will be thoroughly cleaned between Guests. For select props, the photographer may request that you stand next to or behind the prop without making contact with it. In these scenarios, your photographer will endeavor to capture your photos with the best angles and perspective in mind.
- Before the photographer takes a photo, please have your MagicBand or Card ready for the photographer to scan so they can quickly link your photos to your account. Photographers will keep as much distance as possible during this process.
