Disney will stop booking air travel vacation packages in 2021

The Walt Disney Travel Company will stop offering air transportation as part of its packages for guests starting with arrivals in 2021.

This includes trips being booked to Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii.

“We will continue to make new airline bookings for travel through the end of 2020, and our teams will continue to service existing airline bookings at this time,” Disney said

No specific reason was given, but many travelers have been booking through airlines themselves for quite some time to obtain cheaper fares, or use airline points for rewards.
