Destination D: Fantastic Worlds postponed at Disney World to 2021

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club is postponing this fall’s D23 Destination D: Fantastic Worlds event at Walt Disney World until 2021 due to the coronavirus.

The event, originally scheduled for November, was going to honor Disney’s many magical places from the extraordinary to the fantastical. The event was also going to have a special exhibit on the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney Archives.

“Due to the global impact of the COVID-19 virus and protocols necessary to ensure social distancing, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Destination D event until 2021,” according to the announcement.

“We plan to announce a new date for Destination D later this year and will continue to host exclusive virtual events through out 2020.

“We look forward to seeing you a at D23 event in the near future,” according to D23
