What Disney World park hours will look like when they reopen in July
As announced yesterday, May 27, when the Walt Disney World theme parks reopen in July they will have no fireworks, meet and greets, parades and shorter hours. Now, we are getting an idea of what those hours will look like.
The theme parks will be reopening in phases, the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11 and then Epcot and Hollywood Studios on July 15.
Disney has already posted the hours on its website. The hours and can and will most likely change as more things are added back to the parks and capacity increases over time.
It should also be noted that Disney has included Extra Magic Hours at parks. These are the extra hours allowed for entrance to resort guests, as well as hours for Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks. There are also hours listed for H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon. The water parks are on the schedule to both open on July 11.
For those planning to go in July, here is what to expect:
Magic Kingdom: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Starting July 11, 2020
Animal Kingdom: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Starting July 11, 2020
Typhoon Lagoon: 10 a.m to 8 p.m. – Starting July 11, 2020
Bilzzard Beach: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. – Starting July 11, 2020
Epcot: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. – Starting July 15, 2020
Hollywood Studios: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. – Starting July 25, 2020
The hours are horrible! That is why people go during the summer because of park hours
