Video: Take a ride on Expedition Everest at Disney World

The next video installment Disney is releasing on its ride and learn series is Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World.

The ride starts off at the mythical village of Serka Zong at the base of the mountain. The three-story pagoda-type building was hand-carved with 1,000 yeti images in Nepal, then shipped, aged and re-assembled in Animal Kingdom.

The architectural style and cultural references of the village are a hybrid of Tibetan, Nepalese and other design traditions found throughout the Himalayas.
