Use OpenTable for Disney Springs restaurant reservations during reopening
One of the tricks we have always used to make reservations at Disney Springs is to use the OpenTable website or make those reservations. It is always easier to use it versus the My Disney Experience. Now, it may be the only way to make reservations during the first phase of the Disney Springs reopening starting on May 20.
So far, Wine Bar George and STK Orlando are the only restaurants taking reservations during the first phase. These can be found on OpenTable and not the My Disney Experience app.
All restaurants are listed on the My Disney Experience app after June 1, but those could disappear if Disney’s rolling cancellations continue through June. It just might be safer to use OpenTable or go through the actual websites.
At this point, Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts will remain closed until further notice.
As more restaurants and store announce their opening we will keep you updated, so keep checking back with us. For now, we know that Disney-owned stores will remain closed during the first reopening.
In addition, three non-Disney restaurants have already confirmed they are not opening on May 20:
- Chef Art smith’s Homecomin’
- Raglan Road
- Splitsville Luxury Lanes
