The Disney Springs shops that will remain closed when the area reopens May 20

If you are planning to go over to Disney Springs during the first phase of its reopening on May 20 be aware that some of your favorite shops will not be reopening yet.

While it is too early to publish a comprehensive list of what will be open and close, we do know of at least two dozen establishments that will not open their doors. All of the Disney-owned stores. (See the list below.)

The only stores and eating establishments that will open during this initial phase will be those “owned by third-party operating participants,” according to Matt Simon, Vice President of Disney Springs. In addition, during the initial opening phase, Disney Springs will have limitations on capacity, parking and operating hours.

During the coming weeks we expect that all of these third-party stores and restaurants will start to make statements about their intentions. Wine Bar George and STK Orlando have already stated it will be opening at noon on May 20 and has published its health and safety protocols. Other non-Disney restaurants have already confirmed they are not reopening on May 20 are listed below.

Additional protocols and procedures for Disney Springs may be announced closer to the opening date, according to Simon.
