Man claiming false imprisonment drops lawsuit against Disney World
A 2018 lawsuit filed against Walt Disney World claiming false imprisonment by a man who was arrested for attacking a Disney employee at the Magic Kingdom has been dropped, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The original incident took place in 2015 when the man, who said he was planning to propose to his fiance, was asked to move a few feet by a cast member as a parade approached. In response, the man screamed at the cast member, grabbed her shirt collar and threatened to punch her, according to a police report. He later pleaded no contest, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
In March, the man dismissed the lawsuit. There is no indication if he received a settlement. Here is the complete story.
