Disneyland Paris staying closed now through mid-July new hotel opening on hold
Disneyland Paris has now extended its cancellations through July 14, 2020, and has pushed back the opening of Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the resort announced on its site.
For those with reservations, you can either receive a refund for the amount already paid or receive a voucher for the same amount. If you choose the voucher, you can use it within 18 months to book any future holiday at Disneyland Paris (subject to the then applicable conditions), or to rebook a similar holiday to your original booking at the same price and under the same conditions.
In addition, the during this unprecedented situation and in line with government measures, the construction of Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel was temporarily put on hold which is impacting the company’s timeline for the hotel’s originally scheduled June 15, 2020 opening.
The hotel is inspired by a New York art gallery, paying tribute to the city that is home to many iconic Marvel Super Heroes and the artists who created them.
“While we do not have a new opening date to announce right now, we hope to be able to share more information, once we can resume our construction work, and assess when we will be ready to open the hotel,” the resort stated.
Those with reservations between June 15 and Oct. 31 2020, you can either receive a refund for the amount you have already paid or receive a voucher for the same amount valid for 18 months. If you choose the voucher, you can use it to book a future holiday at Disneyland Paris (subject to the then applicable conditions), or to rebook a similar holiday to your original booking at the same price and under the same conditions at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel once the date of opening is known.
