What an empty Magic Kingdom looks like from the air 10 days into the shutdown
Ten days into Walt Disney World Resort’s temporary shutdown due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and the birds-eye view of the Magic Kingdom makes it appear as if the park is frozen in time.
Photographer @bioreconstruct, who we have featured in the past, took the skies again on March 25 and has posted some phenomenal views Walt Disney World, specifically a look at the Magic Kingdom.
Photos of the park, normally show walkways filled with people and during fireworks, massive crowds in the hub in front of Cinderella Castle. The photos below are devoid of any people, however, you do see a few vehicles parked inside.
The theme parks will remain closed to at least April 10 due to the stay-at-home order issued by Orange and Osceola counties where Disney World is located. All non-essential businesses, including entertainment venues, are to be closed. The order begins March 26 at 11 p.m. and ends on the evening of April 9.
