New series: Make your own magic every day
Disney’s theme parks worldwide are officially closed in a bid to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
But this is the tip of the iceberg. Children are home from school, many with parents who also find themselves working from home. The stir-craziness, stress and anxiety all are bound to mount as the days and, perhaps, weeks go by.
It’s going to be a big challenge.
At Disney Diary, we would like to help too. Here’s our series aimed at helping all of us make our own magic at home.
Over the coming weeks, we will sprinkle a little pixie dust every day, in the form of:
- Activities: Recipes, crafts, games and more than you can put together with items you have on hand around the house.
- Giveaways: Win a bit of the magic by engaging with us on social media.
- Mindfulness: Managing stress and anxiety can be hard, too. Research suggests resilience plays a key role in how we manage stress, and practicing mindfulness and gratitude can help build resilience. But we’ll get to that later.
