Lots of new information was released today about the Avengers Campus now scheduled to open July 18 at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland including, the name of a new ride, the debut of a new villain, a new store, how Tom Holland is involved and, of course, shawarma.

The new WEB Suppliers Store, where you will find the latest WEB inventions, will sell those Spider-Bots from the new ride. The Spider-Bot will have a remote control, and all eight articulated legs move forward and backward. You will even be able to customize your Spider-Bot with tactical upgrade and power from various super hereos including: Black Panther, Iron Man and Black Widow, as well as Ant-Man and The Wasp.

There will also be a specially-designed backpack to carry Spider-Bots when they are not in action. It sounds similar to the Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Nearby, the Campus Supply Pod is the place to power up with official Avengers Campus gear, including performance fleece hoodies and tees, headwear, drinkware and other super hero supplies.

Adjacent to the Pym Test Kitchen, an oversized beer can where the Pym Tasting Lab will be located. Adults can order a craft beer, ranging from a blood orange hefeweizen to an amber lager or try one of the Pym Research Staff’s Pym Particle-infused cocktail experiments.

In addition, remember the Shwarma Palace that appeared at end of “Marvel’s The Avengers?” Well, there will be a food cart with shawarma-inspired snacks. It will be decked out with memorabilia since the Shawarma Palace owners are huge Avenger fans.

There will also be a Terran Treats food cart near Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! featuring a “weird and wonderful menu of intergalactic eats.”

There will be some new heroes and a villain making their debut. At the Avengers Campus it was previously announced that heroes such as Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje and Thor will be around for the fans. Now, we are learning the Ant-Man and The Wasp will be making their first appearances in the park, and Iron Man will be debuting his new armor in Avengers Campus: the Mark 80.

In addition, the Taskmaster, who will have a role in the upcoming film “Black Widow,” will be seen for the first time at a Disney park at Avengers Campus. Taskmaster can replicate Super Hero moves, making this new villain a balanced foe for the Campus heroes.
