Photos: Inside the newly opened City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs

The most impressive thing inside the City Works Eatery & Pour House, a new sports bar and restaurant at Disney Springs, isn’t the giant TV screens behind the bar, but the two giant boards listing the 68 craft beers, 6 ciders and 8 wines on tap.

Anywhere from 30% to 40% of the draft beer taps are dedicated to local breweries and, according to the wait staff, they will be continually looking for new local beers to add.

The beer, we were told by the staff, will complement the menu, which is a twist on American classics. And if you are looking for a recommendation for a pairing, just ask.

The 8,632-square-foot restaurant includes a 1,767-square-foot patio and three full-service bars, two of which are outside on the covered open-air dining area. Interior seating primarily consists of high-top tables with a few booths running down the center of the bar and tables against the outside windows.

The restaurant features a 168-inch, high-definition video screen complemented by four 110-inch, 12 65-inch screens and a state-of-the-art sound system.

While we were there for the official ribbon cutting and a tour of the interior, the tasting menu was limited to some small bites, which were good. The full menu is here.

Here’s a closer look at the restaurant.
