New light up marquee for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway installed

Disney World has installed a new marquee on the Chinese Theatre at Hollywood Studios touting the highly anticipated Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opening on March 4, 2020.

The sign was installed earlier this week featuring neon depicting Mickey and Minnie inviting you into the theater. Now, while the sign is up, it won’t officially light up until after the attraction opens, Disney said.

The ride will take you inside a Mickey Mouse cartoon short with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. You can now reserve FastPasses for the ride.

The attraction will open in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland in California in 2022.
