MagicBand will be at all Disney World resorts by end of January
Everyone staying at a Disney World resort will be given a MagicBand by end of this month.
The bands, which are Disney’s all-in-one solution to room key, park tickets, FastPass+, PhotoPass and room charge has been in major testing the past six months. Now, it will roll out to everyone staying on property.
This also means that all park guests will be using FastPass+ and will not be able to use the traditional FASTPASS system.
The schedule for the rollout is as follows:
Jan. 6: Art of Animation Resort
Jan. 7: Port Orleans Resort
Jan. 8: Caribbean Beach Resort and Coronado Springs Resort
Jan. 9: Old Key West Resort and Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa
Jan. 10: Wilderness Lodge
Jan. 13: Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
Jan. 14: Animal Kingdom Lodge
Jan. 15: BoardWalk Inn
Jan. 16: Contemporary Resort
Jan. 17: Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Polynesian Resort
Jan. 20: Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
