First look: Villains’ Cursed Caravan for Disney Villains After Hours
Tonight kicks off a new season of the Disney Villains After Hours event at the Magic Kingdom, thas was deemed so successful last year that this year the event is now being offered over 24 nights from Feb. 7 through July 10, 2020.
New this year is the Villains’ Cursed Caravan, a procession, which will take place twice nightly (tonight at 10:30 and 11:45 p.m.) and feature Ursula, Gaston, Oogie Boogie, Cruella DeVil, Captain Hook, and Lady Tremaine, as well as the star of the show, Maleficent the Dragon, showing off her fire breathing abilities.
The special ticketed three-hour event also includes:
- “Villains Unite the Night” Stage Show: Hades and Meg from “Hercules” will set the castle stage ablaze in this show which will also feature appearances by Jafar, The Queen, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent. (Here is our review from last year.) This will be shown tonight at 10 and 11:30 p.m.
- DJ Havoc brings a dance party to the hub area as the DJ keeps the night lively from the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage for all three hours.
- Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain will feature some villain-inspired additions. Other rides will be up and running as well.
- Walk around the park and take photos at special themed photo locations. Be warned the characters will not be out for photos during the event.
- You can snack the night away on free treats, including ice cream, popcorn and select beverages. And, you can purchase some special desserts, drinks and dishes, just made for this event. Find the food guide here.

Tickets for Disney Villains After Hours are available to purchase in advance for $145 plus tax or $155 plus tax on the event night. Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a $30 discount. Event tickets allow entry as early as 7 p.m.
