Dooney & Bourke Fantasia collection available now
It’s a big year for Disney milestones, including the 80th anniversary of Fantasia, which had its first theatrical showing Nov. 13, 1940.
Dooney & Bourke is marking Fantasia’s anniversary with a new collection of three bags plus a limited-edition Magic Band.
The large tote features a dramatic Art Deco tableau that includes Sorcerer Mickey, Peter Pegasus, Hyacinth Hippo, Magic Brooms, Waltzing Flowers, Chernabog, Yen Sid, Ben Ali Gator, and Madame Upanova the dancing ostrich.
The Art Deco flourish carries through to the two smaller bags, which feature a repeating pattern with several of the same characters.
