Disney World starts to take on its Spring look
As the Epcot International Festival of the Arts starts to wind down, Spring is starting to sprout in Epcot at Disney World.
Cast members have started to plant the yellow, pink and purple flowers and erected the first topiaries as part of the 27th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
The festival takes place March 4 through June 1, 2020, and will feature a new Remy topiary – the centerpiece of a new Ratatouille Garden at the France pavilion.
The 90-day extravaganza at Disney World will again feature Outdoor Kitchens and performances during the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
The first topiaries put out are at the UK pavilion with Peter Pan and Captain Hook, and all the Winnie the Pooh crew.
The rest of the topiaries and gardens will be completed over the next two weeks, including, Snow White, Elsa and Anna, Belle and Beast, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Miss Piggy and Kermit.
Thousands of bedding plants in every color of the rainbow will decorate the landscape and dozens of Disney-crafted “flower towers” will offer colorful backdrops. Mini-gardens will be set afloat like floral pontoons on the Future World east and west lakes.
