Disney introduces Espadrilles for a cause
Get a jump on summer — and support a good cause — with a pair of Disney character Espadrilles.
The new collection, launched this week, is a partnership between Disney, Zazzle and UMBUNTU, an organization that creates jobs and supports families in Kenya.
Each custom-made pair of African Espadrilles — or “Afridrilles” — sells for $89.95 for men or women on shopDisney. The shoes are customizable if you want to choose different colors for the print and fabric, though some are less customizable than others because of the prints.
Besides being super cute, the shoes are for a great cause. Each pair is handmade in Maai Mahiu, Kenya, by “UBUNTU Mums” and helps provide health care and education for local families.
Here are seven of the 14 different patterns available on shopDisney. There are many more patterns — including the Muppets! — on Zazzle.com. (We do get some compensation if you purchase items from some of the links. Please help support us. Here’s our full disclosure.)
