Alcohol added to Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party menu
Beer and wine are now on the menu as part of the three Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties, according to Disney.
The change went into effect on Feb.1, the same day prices increased for all three parties. While the price increase was announced in September, there was no indication at the time alcohol was going to be added.
Disney added the information about the alcohol on its website stating simply: “Beginning February 1, 2020, Guests ages 21 and over can also choose from a fine selection of beer and wine.”
The price increase for all three parties, which went into effect the same day, is as follows:
The Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party increased by $20. The price was $69 for adults and $41 for children. It is now, $89 for adults and $53 for children.
The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace increased by $15 jump. The price was $84 for adults and $50 for children. It is now $99 for adults and $59 for children.
The Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing increased by $10.The price was $69 for adults and $41 for children. It is now $79 for adults, and $47 for children.
Alcohol sales inside the Magic Kingdom have been expanding since 2012, when for the first time in 41 years the dry Magic Kingdom starting selling alcohol with dinner at the Be Our Guest Restaurant.
In December 2016, four more restaurants joined the list: Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, Liberty Tree Tavern, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Adventureland and Cinderella’s Royal Table .
And in 2018, The Crystal Palace and Plaza Restaurant joined the list selling wine and beer.
Now, the sales have moved to the dessert party.
