1 day photo op with Guinevere from ‘Onward’ at Disney Springs Saturday

For one day only at Disney Springs, you’ll be able to take photos with the real-life version of Guinevere, the funky purple van that is featured in the upcoming movie “Onward.”

The van will be parked outside the AMC Theatres on Feb. 29, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the “Onward.” There are some special screenings taking place on Saturday.

Set in a suburban fantasy world where magic was part of life, two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, receive a wizard’s staff as a prearranged gift from their father, who died before Ian was born and when Barley was too young to remember him.

The staff came with a spell that will bring him back for only 24 hours, so his sons can meet him. The two go on a quest, using their purple van Guinevere, to take them on an adventure to bring their father back before time is up.
