John Williams wins Grammy for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge music
The theme music for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World is now a Grammy-winning theme.
John Williams, who composed the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite, won is 25th Grammy Sunday night during the 2020 Grammy Awards.
This isn’t the first time Williams has won for composing Star Wars music. He won in 2016 for Star Wars: The Force Awakens soundtrack and in 1977 for the original Star Wars film (retitled Star Wars: A New Hope). Williams wrote the music for all nine Star Wars feature films.
His first Grammy win came in 1975 for writing the soundtrack to “Jaws.”
