What are the dates Magic Kingdom will celebrate its 50th anniversary?
Some have said Oct 1, 2020- Oct 1,2021
Some have said Oct 1,2021- Oct 1, 2022
Some have said Jan 1,2021- Dec 31, 2021
Disney has not made any announcements about this. My best guess is that we could start to get some ideas of their plans as early as May of this year. The reason is that you can book a room as far as 499 days in advance. Subtracting 499 days from Oct. 1, 2021 brings you to May 20, 2020. Another thing consider is that that Epcot turns 40 on Oct. 1, 2022. How Disney will handle the hand off is aldo unknown. When Walt Disney World celebrated its 25th anniversary the dates were Oct. 1, 1996 – Jan. 31, 1998. So they could mirror that.
