3 more changes coming to Epcot the week of Feb. 12
We already know that next week is a big week with the start of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts and debuts of new films in Canada, France and the Land pavilions.
But there are three other big changes coming to Epcot at Walt Disney World starting Jan. 12, 2020.
1. From January 12 through February 29, 2020, the Imagination pavilion hours are changing. Instead of closing earlier, as Future World has, the pavilion will remain open until park close. So from park open to park close, you will be able to ride Journey to Imagination with Figment, was the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival and meet Mickey Mouse at his new location just inside the pavilion near the film festival.
2. On January 13, Gateway Gifts, the ship under Spaceship Earth on the east side of the entrance will close for refurbishment. The reopening date is anticipated to be January 19, 2020. When the store reopens, the package pick-up service will relocate there. In addition, the Gift Stop merchandise store, located outside Main Entrance on the west side will close on January 19. The last day of operation will be January 18.
3. There’s a new band coming to play at the Morocco pavilion. From January 17 through February 23, 2020, the Atlas Fusion band will perform on the Morocco stage every Wednesday through Sunday at the following times.

- 2:20 p.m.
- 3:45 p.m.
- 4:45 p.m.
- 5:45 p.m.
- 6:30 p.m.
- 7:45 p.m.
