Photo construction update of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Disney World

In honor of Disney’s recent announcement that Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the new Star Wars hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort, will open in 2021, we have some aerial photos of the latest construction.

Again, heading to the air is @bioreconstruct, who continues to document the construction that is taking place at Disney World, Universal Studios and other areas around Orlando.

This special hotel will offer a two-night cruise style itinerary. Guests will drive up to the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal. After check-in you enter a launch pod and travel to the Halcyon starcruiser. You will be able to see you are traveling through space through the pod’s viewports. You will watch as you approach the Halcyon.

To get from cruiser to Batuu, you will, remain-story, as you board a transport ship designed to keep you in an immersive experience. It will connect you directly to a spaceport at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, where the story you began in the starcruiser will continue and evolve while exploring the 14-acre land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
