New Year’s Eve 2019 entertainment at Walt Disney World
Ringing in the new year at Disney World means a lot of people and a lot of partying. While you will be able to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks online from the comfort of your own home, there will be a lot happening in the parks.
While the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios all have fireworks, there are no fireworks taking place at Disney Springs or Animal Kingdom. However, Animal Kingdom does have a special projection show.
Here’s the entertainment lineup at each of the parks on Dec. 31, 2019.
Animal Kingdom
The park is open from 7 a.m. to midnight.
- DJ Dance Parties on Discovery Island, Asia and DinoLand USA from 6:15 p.m. to 12:05 am.
- Tree of Life – Awaken the New Year – special projection show at 11:58 p.m.
Epcot
Future World is open from 8 a.m.to 1 a.m. and World Showcase from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.
- Epcot Forever – 6:30 p.m.
- Epcot Forever with New Year’s Countdown and perimeter rooftop fireworks 11:40 p.m.
- DJ Dance Parties at China, American Gardens Theatre, Future World East Stage, United Kingdom, Italy and Future World Center.
Hollywood Studios
The park is open from 6 a.m to midnight.
- DJ Dance Party at Center Stage from 7 p.m.
- Wonderful World of Animation at 6:05 p.m.
- Fantasmic! 9pm and 10:30 p.m.
- Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at 6:30 p.m., and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular with new scenes from Rise of Skywalker at midnight
Magic Kingdom
The park has Extra Magic Hours from 7 to 8 a.m. and the park will be open from 8 a.m to 1 a.m.
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas – 12:15, 1:10, 2, 3:50, 4:50, 5:40 p.m.
- A Frozen Holiday Wish – 6 p.m.
- Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration – 7:45, 8:45 and 9:45p.m.
- Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks – 6:30 and 11:50 p.m.
- DJs on the Castle stage, in Frontierland and Tomorrowland from 6:45 p.m. to 1 a.m.
