Hollywood Studios changes hours due to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Disney World has changed the Hollywood Studios park, Disney Skyliner and Minnie Van hours for the next week due to the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction.

Disney has been adjusting the hours of Hollywood Studios due to the large crowds massing outside the park to ride the new ride.

Now through Dec. 21, the park will be opening at 7 a.m. The park has been opening between 6:30 and 6:45 a.m. in the past week to allow people to join the virtual queue for “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.”

For the remainder of the year, the park will open at 6 a.m. In January, the opening hours have been back from 9 a.m. to 8 a.m.

In addition, all the morning Extra Magic Hours have been replaced with a two-hour evening Extra Magic Hours once the park closes.

To help get people to the park, the Disney Skyliner will open at 6:45 a.m. and the Minnie Van service will start picking up guests at 5 a.m.
