Why you need to visit the Boardwalk’s gingerbread display
The holidays at Disney World means a crop of gingerbread displays sprout up around the resorts area. One of the displays, I would recommend making sure you see is the one located in the lobby of Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Resort.
This re-creation of the Disney Boardwalk is full of exquisite detail from the decorated trees containing gingerbread men and fish to Mickey and Minnie baking in the Boardwalk Bakery to ESPN Club to a gazebo dressed for a wedding.
When you do go to see it, take your time walking up and down the mini-Boardwalk. Take a closer look inside the bakery to find Chef Mickey and Chef Minnie making the pastries. See the salt sacks on the floor and the small bottles and microwave.
Take your time as you take a gingerbread tour of the Boardwalk.
