How the Contemporary Resort’s gingerbread castle is made

Walt Disney World is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Cinderella Castle.

It took a team of 39 bakers 10 days to assemble the 18-foot 6-inch high and 25-foot by 4-inch wide castle.

Over 5,000 decorative gingerbread shingles and Mickey peppermint swirls were used.
