Disneyland’s Snow White’s Scary Adventures to undergo major refurbishment

Snow White’s Scary Adventures, the classic Fantasyland ride at Disneyland, will undergo a major refurbishment in 2020.

According to a permit filed with the city of Anaheim, show sets, props and scenes will be replaced. New beams and electrical upgrades will also take place.

The attraction opened on Disneyland’s opening day as Snow White and her Adventures. The ride was from Snow White’s point of view, but there was some confusion among park guests who did not understand why Snow White was not in the ride.

In 1983, during Fantasyland’s re-imagination, the ride was revamped.

This upcoming upgrade of the 6,212 square foot ride might have upgraded special effects as new projector platform is also scheduled to be built.
